March 2018

We actually had three presenters at tonight’s meeting!

Presenter #1:
Dr. Eddie Garcia

Dr. Eddie Garcia

Demonstrated “Plex” – media server software

It’s free at first, then it has monthly plans, annual plans or a lifetime plan.

Install and run the Plex Media Server on a computer where all your media is stored and manage your movies, TV shows, home videos, music, and photo libraries.  Wherever you are, press play, sit back, and enjoy your media as it streams from the Plex Media Server any of your other devices. It can record TV Shows. You can stream different shows to any TV in your house simultaneously. It helps to have a large external hard drive.

B & H has 8 TB hard drives on sale for around $169.

Thank you Dr. Garcia!

Presenter #2:
Andrew McKamey gave us a wonderful (and entertaining) demonstration of a Wacom Tablet!  Thank you Andrew!
