AT&T is raising the rates on the old unlimited plan.
If you are only paying $40 a month for ‘unlimited’ back when edge was so slow it really meant “slower than I could read the email coming in”. It’s going to $45 a month.

Woman gets fined in Canada for reading a message on her watch at a stoplight

Watch OS 5

Heads-up if you own an original Apple Watch: your wrist wear is officially obsolete, which if you still have one, probably doesn’t last all day on one charge anyway.
Apple has confirmed that WatchOS 5 will drop support for the first-generation Watch and will require at least a Series 1 timepiece.

WatchOS5 has a walkie talkie chat app like T-mobile used to have, and automagically knows when you start workouts.

Scalping Tickets

It is illegal for you or I to buy a ticket to the concert and try to re-sell your ticket, but Ticketmaster has changed the rules so that as long as you pay their fee, perfectly legal!
So what does this mean?
About a week before a concert, people who know they can’t go, will put their tickets up for sale.
About four days before the concert, they will start lowering the price, if you really want a seat, check every day and try to buy the ticket you want when the price drops.
The day of the concert, most people will dump the tickets for as cheap as the service allows, which is sometimes not cheap at all!

IOS 12 Coming

Apple says iOS 12 will launch apps 40% faster and the camera 70% faster on an iPhone 6S — the model that came out in 2015. You can FaceTime group up to 32 people which should be cool

iOS 12’s augmented reality features will be powered by the new “ARKit 2,” enabling shared experiences, persistent AR experiences tied to a specific location (think Pokemon Go), object detection and image tracking, and more that will make AR apps “even more dynamic.” Apple worked with Pixar to create a new open file format, USDZ, so that it’s easy to experience AR “nearly anywhere in iOS,” ranging from apps like Messages to Safari, Mail, Files, News, and more.
